Sightings on 17/1/2015. The pair of hornbills were on a peepal tree feeding on its figs. They spent at least half hour (7:30 am - 8 am)on this tree along with koels, rose-ringed parakeets, mynahs, coppersmith barbets and red-vented bulbuls. It is the first time in 8 years that I saw this species in the area. (I have been birdwatching this tree outside my home for past 8 years). The pair looked very much at home. The area is fairly green and next to green campus of SCI's Maritime institute.
