Was having lunch with a couple of friends at a restaurant. Suddenly saw a hornbill flying over some distance. First I identified as a juvenile great hornbill. I decided to leave my lunch and go to click it. After serching for a while I found it on the ground eating some fruits and then confirmed it was Malabar pied hornbill. Unexpected sighting of this bird. FYI the attached photo is from my phone camera.
