I moved to this colony around 9 years ago, since then i have been seeing them morning and evening.(They have been here even before we moved to this place) They used to perch on our windows and tap on the windows very early in the mornings(now they have stopped). They screech a lot both mornings and Evenings The reason i am reporting is that I haven't seen any Chicks/their offsprings since i came here. They are always seen in pairs. I have seen Parrots and Mina's around our House and their numbers have gone up but not these Hornbills. I used to see these kind of Birds in Mysore and once in Warangal Other than that i haven't seen them in any of the jungles around Hyderabad
