While taking a safari in Pakke Tiger reserve a flock of seven rufous necked hornbills flew over the treeline. Sighting was on one of the trails starting from the West bank forest camp. Sudden sighting, hence I only got a picture of one of the males, hence cannot determine the sex of the rest of flock, but all had the white tip on the tail which was the clear indication of Rufous necked hornbill. I cannot remember the exact location in the reserve, but one of the guards and the driver saw them too. Rare sighting in the lower elevation area of pakke.
