Latpanchar a quaint village on the edge of Mahananda WLS at 4500 Ft. under Kurseong sub-division in Darjeeling distric. West Bengal is the breeding ground for Rufous Necked and Great HIimalayan Pied Horn Bill. Indian gray horn bill is found on the lower reaches of MWLS. Latpanchar Nature Protection Society (NGO) is working to protect the forest and wildlife and conducting awareness programes and trying to develop a sustainable eco-tourism for a community based development. We are in need of technical and financial help. Please enlighten us.
