I watched this pair for more than 15 days -- they were playing out their mating rituals near a nest hole by the IITB Library. Most often I had watched the male offer his mate some food and finally when she ate it, sometimes with much coercing, he would take the cue and mount her to mate. But then I regularly started noticing that she too would take position on top of him. I also have a video. It was a new revelation for me. I would like to know more about this behaviour.
